Valley Concert Band is a group of amateur musicians from the Georgian Triangle (Thornbury, Clarksburg, Meaford, Rocklyn, Collingwood) who love music and enjoy the spirit of a community band.

Our concerts support many community fund raising events and seasonal celebrations. Annual activities have included a Spring Garden Party; Strawberry Socials; Museum and Friends of the Library fundraisers; a Fall Fair; Remembrance Day Concert; Community Thanksgiving Dinner entertainment;Salvation Army fundraiser; Entertainment to Central Park Lodge in OS and many Christmas concerts to nursing homes in our area.

Interested musicians who have a brass or woodwind instrument (perhaps gathering dust) are welcome to join! Practices are held Monday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Thornbury. Saundra Lake, conductor.
