A varied show of pastel artists work from members across Canada. Pastel Artists.Ca was founded in 1989. They are a member society of the International Association of Pastel Societies and a sister society to Pastel Artists of Eastern Canada. Their aim is to promote public appreciation of the renaissance in dry pastel, to improve the skills of artists working in this fine art medium and to promote fellowship among pastel artists.

Locally Grown Creativity! Our 10th annual "Feast for the Eyes" Juried art exhibition showcases and awards artistic talent growing in our community. This show promises to not only feed your visual appetite but also feeds the soul of our community by supporting local food initiatives. Sample “tasty” treats and bid on delicious silent auction items while enjoying art created by the community and professional artists including a 10th anniversary Gallery Artist selection. Admission is free with the donation of a packet of organic vegetable seeds for the Southampton Community Garden.

The Parent and Child Spring Session begins Friday, April 13 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. for 6 weeks, facilitated by Millie Johne. Imitation, movement, and pictures: These are key words for young children. Add a loving, warm environment and they will thrive. Friday morning sessions include free play and social time, circle and story, crafts, snack, articles and discussion about Waldorf education. The cost is $8 a session or $30.00 for 5 sessions when paid on the first day. The program starts Friday, April 13 and continues until May 18.
