This is a great opportunity to experience art first hand and support emerging artists in their creative careers. Exhibits and artists rotate on a monthly basis all year long. Free Admission. The winning design was created by a local budding artist and will be showcased alongside all other entries in an exhibition at the Southampton Art Gallery from March 1st-March 29th. Pastel Artists.Ca was founded in 1989. They are a member society of the International Association of Pastel Societies and a sister society to Pastel Artists of Eastern Canada. Their aim is to promote public appreciation of the renaissance in dry pastel, to improve the skills of artists working in this fine art medium and to promote fellowship among pastel artists. March Break KidsZone Camp Start: 08:14 End: 17:14 March 12-16 – March Break KidZone Discovery Programs 8:30am – 5pm (Ages 5-12) “History on the Water” – Join us this March Break to learn about life on the water. Discover how sailors lived, how battles were fought, and what happened when ships wrecked. Register early to avoid disappointment! Pre-registration and prepayment required. Time to break out of the mold and learn something new! Come, get your hands dirty and have some fun all while learning basic pottery skills. This class will introduce you to the beginner methods of hand building, using slab, coil and pinch techniques while we explore elements of both form and function and create unique and usable works of art out of clay.
