DESCRIPTION:<p>January 9 to February 4<br />
 The Meaford Hall Galleries present the perfect backdrop this stunning display of quilts. The display consists of almost 40 quilts both large and small available for viewing until February 5. In the collection are works by each individual artist in the group of about 20 quilters. Included in the exhibit will be hand-quilted\, pieced\, appliquéd\, and machine quilted works from artisans aged 50 to 90 who reside in Meaford and the surrounding countryside. All quilts are brand new\, with most being available for sale.</p>

 This group exhibition includes works by Jean Francis\, Terry Golletz\, Sharon Barfoot\, Peri Jolley\, Lorraine Boucher\, Pat Keeling\, Val Kent\, and Sandy Esplen. Colour\, shape\, form\, texture and the results of light and movement are the predominate focus in this exhibit of abstractions.  Each artist is heavily influenced by their environment\, whether urban or rural and the organic structures within that environment. Meet the artists February 11 &amp\; 17 from 7 to 10pm.</p>
